About Nuer Makuei International Organization Society (N-MOIS)
Our Vision
We envision a Sudan where every community thrives in dignity and self-sufficiency. Our dream is a nation rebuilt from conflict, where equal access to healthcare, education, and opportunity allows all people – especially women, children, and displaced populations – to shape their own futures. We see sustainable peace growing from grassroots reconciliation and economic empowerment.
Our Mission
Each day, we work to make this vision real through integrated humanitarian and development programs. We deliver emergency relief that preserves human dignity while simultaneously building long-term community capacity. Our health clinics save lives today while training local medical staff for tomorrow. Classrooms provide both immediate education and lifelong skills. Every intervention is designed with and for the communities we serve, creating solutions that endure beyond our presence.

Help People Now
Our Core Values
At N-MOIS, we uphold human dignity by recognizing the inherent worth of every individual we serve, from family reunification programs to respectful emergency aid distribution. We ensure transparency through independent financial audits, public budget postings in local communities, and detailed donor reports with verifiable impact data. Our commitment to community empowerment means investing in local solutions—training Sudanese teachers, forming village water committees, and hiring 72% of our health workers from within the communities we serve—to create sustainable, locally led change. These principles guide every decision, from latrine designs to conflict mediation workshops.

Our Focus
Our Programs
Each of these interconnected programs addresses both immediate needs and long-term development, creating a comprehensive approach to building resilient communities across Sudan.

We provide emergency medical care in conflict zones while promoting long-term wellness. Our mobile clinics treat injuries and diseases, while HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns combine education with testing. Maternal health services ensure safe pregnancies and child development.

We transform lives through learning. Adult literacy programs teach practical skills, while girls’ scholarships break gender barriers. Our teacher training improves education quality across communities.

We reunite separated families and create safe spaces for vulnerable children. Parenting programs strengthen families, while shelters provide emergency care and counseling.

We build sustainable water systems and promote hygiene. From borehole construction to emergency camp sanitation, we prevent disease and save time for women and girls.

Our workshops teach conflict resolution and human rights. We train community mediators and empower women to prevent violence, creating lasting peace from the ground up.

We combat malnutrition through emergency food distributions, agricultural training programs, and sustainable farming initiatives that help communities grow their own nutritious food.
