Restoring Stolen Childhoods: Our Holistic Sanctuary Model

For the 60,000+ children sleeping in storm drains and abandoned buildings, we provide more than shelter—we rebuild identity. Our rehabilitation model begins with night sanctuaries where traumatized youth find safety and compassionate caregivers. Here, art therapy sessions transform pain into powerful murals, and "story circles" led by recovered street youth help newcomers process their experiences.

The healing journey continues through skill-building that restores dignity. Boys like Kofi, who guarded cars in Juba's broiling sun, discover their artistry in metalwork studios. Girls who survived exploitation learn urban farming on repurposed rooftops, growing vegetables from salvaged containers. Each child follows a personalized path: family reunification when possible, foster care when needed, and always education tailored to years lost.

Graduates receive more than certificates—they get startup grants and mentorships. Kofi now runs a sculpture workshop employing five former street youth, turning scrap metal into artworks sold internationally. This is rehabilitation that doesn't just remove children from danger, but equips them to transform their communities.
